What is the active ingredient in Sudocrem?

Can I put Sudocrem on any part of the body?
Sudocrem is suitable to put on any external part of the body, just be mindful that if it does come in contact with the eyes or mouth it may cause irritation.
Is Sudocrem suitable for sensitive skin?
For those with sensitive skin, always remember to do a small patch test on an unaffected area of the skim, prior to application to the affected area. Apply Sudocrem in a thin layer, wait 24 hours and if no irritation is experience, apply to the affected area as directed.
Sudocrem is causing an irritation on the skin.
Skin irritation from Sudocrem is rare, but may be caused by hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. If irritation occurs discontinue use.
Does Sudocrem contain any nut ingredients?
No, Sudocrem contains no peanut or arachis oil.
I have heard nappy rash creams may clog nappies, making them less effective - does this happen with Sudocrem?
If Sudocrem is applied correctly (i.e. a small amount applied thinly), there is no evidence to suggest that it will have a negative effect on the ability of nappies to absorb urine.
How do you remove Sudocrem from fabric and carpets?
Scrape of excess with a blunt knife. Soak areas with clean warm water (40°C). It is best to work in small sections at a time. Apply a mild, diluted washing up liquid with a nailbrush. Work up a good lather. Sponge off and rinse with warm water. Repeat if necessary.
What should I do if Sudocrem is ingested?
Large amounts ingested accidently may cause vomiting or diarrhoea. No known cases of overdose have been reported. Seek medical advice if concerned and adverse affects persist.
What should be done if contact is made with the eyes?
If contact with eyes occurs, irrigate immediately with water for at least 5 minutes. If any adverse affects persist, seek medical advice.
Can Sudocrem be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
There are no known contraindications with the use in pregnancy and lactation.
