Gaviscon Liquid helps relieve the burning pain of heartburn and the discomfort of indigestion - helps protect inflamed oesophageal tissue - helps prevent further inflammation by forming a physical barrier to reflux.
The alginate "raft" helps keep gastric contents in place, thereby reducing the likelihood of these irritating the delicate lining of the oesophagus.

Does not contain aluminum, sugar, gluten or artificial colouring.
Adults and Children over 12 years: Take 1-2 tablets as required, after meals and half an hour before going to bed at night, up to four times daily.
Maximum of 8 tablets daily.
Tablets can be chewed if desired.
Do not lie down immediately after taking Gaviscon.
Children under 12 years should seek medical advice.
The maximum daily intake (8 tablets) for adults contains 984mg of sodium. Take into account if on a low sodium diet.
