Gaviscon Dual Action works in two ways to effectively relieve symptoms of both heartburn and indigestion
1) Neutralises excess stomach acid.
2) Forms a protective barrier over the stomach contents which helps prevent acid coming back up into the oesophagus (food pipe).

Each 10ml dose contains:
Sodium alginate 500mg
Calcium carbonate 325mg
Sodium bicarbonate 213mg
Does not contain aluminium, sugar or gluten or artificial colouring.
Adults and children 12 years and over: Take 10 to 20ml up to 4 times daily, after meals and before going to bed.
Children 6-12 years: Take 5 to 10ml up to 4 times daily, after meals and before going to bed.
Children under 6 years: not recommended.
Shake well before use.

The maximum total daily intake (80ml) for adults contains 1128mg of sodium, take into account of on a low sodium diet.
